The search engine searches for all available materials by default. On the search results page you will be able to narrow down the results to the type of material, category and sub-category. If you want to search through a particular archive, select it and start looking for. You can also go to the advanced search engine or just browse collections.

Select historical period
If you are not looking for anything specific, you can start exploring the site by browsing scans of materials by selecting the "Browse collections" button.
